Chicago Colonic Treatment Benefits

A colonic should be a comfortable experience! It is very discreet as you are fully covered with soft, plush towel/drape cloth, and there is generally no odor or sound produced. A highly trained therapist is focused exclusively on your needs at all times. The session usually consists of 60-70 minutes of table time, followed by some “toilet time” afterwards.

Each treatment room has a private bathroom, to allow for a discreet experience.

The rooms were designed to be restful to the senses with subdued lighting, music, and candles.

The colon has been referred to as the sewer system of the body and it is certainly one of them.

It is as long as we are tall…literally the colon could stretch from our head to our toes!

The diameter of our colon is equal to that of our wrist.

A healthy bowel movement may measure about 12-18” in length.  A healthy person may have 2-3 bowel movements a day.

The colon reabsorbs fluids every 3-4 minutes.  A heavily impacted colon could be reabsorbing toxins every 3-4 minutes.

As clean as your colon is, is as clean as your bloodstream is.

People often report feeling improved mental clarity, better memory retention, and less brain “fog” after a colonic.

One colonic equals three days’ worth of fasting.
